Breccia: a rock composed of older mineral fragments, melded by millennia of geological processes.
Out of the building’s rubble, fragments of brick and mortar are brought together into an entanglement of seemingly incoherent elements, bound by the grammar of dreams - the dream narrative of debris. The pieces are tightly bound and stitched in vintage bed linen. The reclaimed detritus has transformed the transient mind-space of rubbish into the more durable time of bricolage, with shifting interpretations.
